I am a feminist writer and writing instructor. I am passionate about words, writing, reading, poetry, story, books, and lifelong learning; about equity, inclusivity, and human connection, and the powerful potential of words to realize these goals. I love supporting others on their writing journey, helping them to find connection, meaning, understanding, and joy in words and the creative process.
 
My research and writing interests lie (not exclusively, but most frequently) at the busy intersection of writing, feminism, and motherhood. I have a PhD in Creative Writing by practice, a Master’s in Women’s Studies, and an English BA (Hons) degree, as well as Desktop Publishing, Technical Writing, and Graduate Creative Writing certificates.

My writing – creative and not – has been included in a wide variety of anthologies, magazines, and journals, and I am editor/co-editor of several published and upcoming anthologies. You can explore samples of my published work here.
